Time: 10 minutes Makes: 9×13 pan
Ingredients:
- 6 cups cereal of choice (branch out! Try Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, etc.) (5 cups if you want them to be marshmallow-dominate)
- 5 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Melt butter in tall sauce pot over medium heat.
- While butter is melting, line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
- Add marshmallows and pinch of salt and stir until melted and combined.
- Remove pot from heat and add cereal.
- Stir, stir, stir until all cereal is covered with marshmallow.
- Spoon the mixture into the pan quickly, the marshmallow will start to cool quickly.
- Use another piece of wax paper, sprayed with nonstick spray to (semi-gently as to not crush the cereal) to shape the mixture to the edges of the pan.
- Let cool, and cut with a sharp knife. Eat same day or store in a tightly sealed Ziploc bag.
